Uses
- PC-AE can be used as air-entraining agent for concrete, mortar and the other products, especially for wet concrete environment of hard water and an alkaline environment (high calcium ions and high PH value).
- Compared to the other air-entraining agents, PC-AE’s efficiency is higher and its lower amount could achieve the same air-entraining effect. PC-AE also has a specific application, such as the foaming agent of floor tile.
- PC-AE can produce a large number of uniform microbubbles in concrete admixtures, whose foam particle size is below 300 microns in dry concrete. The air content is up to 5%.
Dosage
PC-AE’s dosage is 0.01-0.1% of water-reducing agent’s weight.
Storage
> 30℃ storage will cause the surface gel. After stirring, the gel will be eliminated and may be used again. If the product is in <20℃ environment, there may be precipitation in effective material. You can re-heat and stir this product to be mixed unevenly. However, the heating temperature is not higher than 50 ℃.
Shelf Life
At room temperature, PC-AE can be stable for one year without opening the storage. The prolonged storage will lead to the lower PH value.
